Paulette's Mother was Marie Louise Alhau. The Alhau family is from St. Gaudens, France. Most of these photos are from postcards that were sent by and to various members of the family from about 1911 to 1920.
By the way, Paulette's contemporaries in the Alhau family were all very close. There were about a dozen cousins who grew up together and stayed in touch throughout the years. There are plenty of stories about Paulette, Juliette, Pauline, and Marie... and their antics. Max was a cousin who made his life in Paris. They visited and stayed in touch with him too throughout the years.
